Is HiNeX free to use?+
Yes — browsing and booking on HiNeX is free. You only pay for the service you book, at the price shown before you confirm.
How do I book a service?+
Search or browse a category, compare verified pros by rating, distance and price, pick a time, and confirm. Your provider then accepts the request before it's locked in.
What happens after I request a booking?+
The provider receives your request and can accept it, propose a new time, or decline. You're notified the moment they respond, and the booking only becomes active once it's accepted.
Can I cancel a booking?+
Yes, from your bookings. Our cancellation policy keeps things fair for both sides — see the Terms for the specifics.
How do reviews work?+
Reviews and ratings come only from customers with a completed booking, so the reputation you see is real.
Payments & safety
Is paying through HiNeX safe?+
Yes. Payments are processed securely and held until the job is complete, so your money is protected. You never need to pay cash or make risky transfers.
When is the provider paid?+
Funds are released to the provider once the job is marked complete — not before.
How are providers vetted?+
Providers can verify their identity, licences and insurance, shown as badges on their profile. Reviews come only from completed bookings.
What if something goes wrong?+
Message your provider in-app, or contact our support team at support@hinex.com.au. You can also report a provider or booking from within the app.

How do I join as a provider?+
Tap “Become a provider”, create your profile, set your services and prices, and start receiving requests. It's free to list.
What does it cost?+
Listing is free. HiNeX charges a service fee on completed bookings — see the Pricing page for details.
Do I need an ABN?+
Not to get started. You'll need one if you're registered for GST or operating as a business.
How and when do I get paid?+
Payouts are made to your nominated account after each job is completed and the payment is released.
